Do I need a consultation before I have Treatment?

What if I don't know what treatment I need?
Please book for a New Treatment Consultation. A consultation is required before any treatment can commence. This helps us to understand your needs and advise the best treatment/skincare to achieve your desired results.

If I have a Laser treatment at another Clinic, do I need a consultation at Devine Skin?
YES! Although you may be familiar with laser, we still need to know your medical history, understand your needs, and advise best treatment for you.

Why Can't I find the IPL Laser Hair Removal
prices?
At Devine Skin we work a little different and do not have a set price. As everyone has individual needs, there is not one size fits all. We will work with your area of concern and plan a treatment tailored to your needs to get your best result at the best price.

Does Laser Hair Removal hurt?
For most people Laser does not hurt, However it all depends on your threshold of pain and sensitivity to pain. Most people say it feels like a ping of a rubber band against the skin. We use a cryo handset that cools the skin before and every shot of laser.

How much Does Laser Hair removal Cost?
The cost of laser varies depending upon the area of the face or body you want to treat and how many session you need. Between 6-12 session are usually needed.
How long does laser Hair Removal Last?
Some people see permeant results, while some people may need a touch-up treatment every six to twelve months. Results vary depending on your hair type and skin type and type of hair growth.
What can I expect after a chemical peel & Mironeedling?
The skin will feel a little tender and more sun-sensitive as the epidermis renews itself. Not all peels cause peeling, but if peeling occurs it usually between 3-5 days after the peel leaving you with fresh new skin.

How do AlumierMD products differ from those you can buy on the high street?
Products that are mass marketed in department or high street shops are often diluted and manufactured for general skin.
AlumierMD products combine a variety of medical-grade ingredients such as AHA's, BHA's, Retinol, Antioxidants, Plant Extractions, Vitamins and Peptides. The concentrations of these ingredients are generally much higher and work synergistically to cause an action in the skin to improve skin concerns including, Acne, Rosacea, Acne Scarring, Pigmentation, Hyperpigmentation, Uneven skin tone, dry, dehydrated skins and ageing skin.
What is Retinol?
Retinol is a vitamin A derivate and antioxidant that increase cell turnover and strengthens the skin which then in turn improves tone & texture. This helps minimise the appliance of fine lines, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation.

What is Microneedling?
Microneedling also known as Collagen induction therapy is a minimally invasive treatment that involves repeatedly puncturing the skin with tiny sterile needles to cause a wound healing response. This helps produce collagen and elastin which helps to firm and smooth the skin.
What is Advanced Electrolysis?
Advanced Electrolysis or Advanced Cosmetic Procedure is a safe & effective form of skin blemish removal such as Skin tags, Milia, Blood Spots & thread veins. It works by using a small current of electricity and a very fine needle to cauterise the problem area on the skin.
Does Advanced electrolysis hurt?
This treatment can be mildly uncomfortable with a warm stinging sensation but it is easily tolerable. It is also common to experience redness and swelling for the first 24-48 hrs after your treatment.

Is there any scarring after Advanced Electrolysis?
After you treatment is complete, you may experience some small fine scabs. Please do not pick these, let them fall off on their own this will minimise any scarring. The scabs may last anything from 4-14 days while the skin heals. You may be left with a little pink skin which will fade over a period of a few months.
How much will it cost?
You pay for the length of time you are treated with the minimum being 20 mins. More than one session may be required due to the area not being over treated and skin reactivity.
Will my Blemish Return?
The treated blemish will not return but others may occur depending on the root cause.
