I seem to have managed to get into some kind of routine... Up between 8am-9am, coffee, feed dogs, breakfast, check & respond to work emails . This takes me to about lunch time. Sounds good 👍🏻 but I still haven’t managed to shower, get dressed, brush hair or teeth and get out of my pJ’s. 🤔🤣
This caught me out last Monday, when my friend said let’s meet for a social distance walk. I rushed to get ready so no time for a shower (I was going to get sweaty anyway). It was cold so hat needed (no need to brush my hair) and ran out of the door (well walked fast, most of you who know me know I don’t do running or jogging). All good until I realised I hadn’t brushed my teeth 🤣. Oh well, we are social distancing and masks do have their advantages. The one thing I did do was put my skincare on and my SPF on. This is obviously more natural for me than brushing my teeth 🤣🤣🤣
I now realise this is not a good routine to get into, so now trying to shower, brush teeth and get dressed before I go down for coffee... 🤪😏😉
I have also been doing a walk or bike ride everyday, even in the rain. Although I don’t always feel like going out I definitely feel better after. This is helping with my mental health and keeping me sane ( as much as I can be )🤣 The only problem with this is, that it takes so much time and I am shattered after so no other jobs get done. 🤪 The house is minging 🤔🤪but I did manage to put the Christmas trees up. 🎄I know it’s early but makes me happy. It seems it doesn’t matter how much time I have off, I never have the time to do the housework 🤔😏. I find this job never ending and with having four dogs, husband and two teenager boys it never stays tidy.
I always seem to manage to look after my skin though, even if I don’t get dressed.
