So hands up if you’re enjoying the snow🙋🏼♀️ I have to admit to loving it 🌨. I think there is something magical about the snow, it brings the kid and fun out in us all, including my dogs. The brightness of the snows reflection, the blue skies and sunshine have really lifted my mood. My walk today was absolutely stunning. I forgot I was in England.
So what have you been up to in the snow ?
It has been a week extremes for me, one day I run around like a mad man, the next day I am exhausted and have no energy at all. On my no energy days I have been catching up on box sets. I actually quite like having the time to binge watch, getting through a whole series of something in one day. The only trouble with this is, I am staying up later and later. Last night I didn’t get into bed until 3am. 🤔 Then I can’t get up in the morning.🤦🏼♀️. It’s not a good habit to get into! I have no idea what’s going on in the world as I haven’t watched the news for over a week now. I was finding it to depressing and negative which means I still don’t know when I will get back in the salon. I figure if I can go back to work my federation will tell me. Hopefully it will be in February or early March 🤞🏼
I am missing seeing and treating you all. I hope you are all ok and keeping on top of your skin care. Specially your sunscreen. It may be winter but you still need to put your SPF on daily to protect from the damaging UV rays, especially at the moment. The snow as it is highly reflective and can reflect up to 90% of UV Radiation. I wear a sunscreen 365 days a year even indoors as the damaging rays can penetrate glass! Thank you to those of you who have contacted me for a chat, it really has been great to hear from you. I know how difficult this lockdown is for you. Homeschooling or looking after elderly relatives, it really has put a strain and stress on you. I wish I could do something to ease the stress, all I can offer is a listening ear and a virtual hug. To those of you who have been unwell, through covid or other illness, I am wishing for a speedy recovery for you.
